Many of us start our days out “full steam ahead”. We run headlong into schedules, activities, appointments and responsibilities. Your morning will start so much better if you get things ready the NIGHT BEFORE.
Many of us start our days out “full steam ahead”. We run headlong into schedules, activities, appointments and responsibilities. Your morning will start so much better if you get things ready the NIGHT BEFORE.
Here are some ideas of how you can be well-prepared for a great next day!
- Pick out your wardrobe for tomorrow and put everything in a convenient location.
- Make sure your glasses, car keys, and wallet are in your purse, where they belong.
- Pack your lunch.
- Get frozen meats out to thaw for the next evening meal.
- Check your calendar for appointments.
- Touch base with your kids to make sure their homework and other “stuff” is ready to go.
- Make a safety check of the house before retiring. Are the stove, iron and other appliance turned off?
- Take the dog potty…and don’t forget to let her/him back in! :)
- Lock the doors.
- Get ready for bed.
- Turn out the lights.
- Sweet dreams….

Came over from Mommy Rantings...LOVE the Ducks 'n a Row! Although the idea of organization and having everything in its place, I've been struggling lately with the new little addition. Seven kids requires organization, while they also have a way of disrupting it, too! LOL
ReplyDeleteawesome advice! so true...especially since i am so NOT a morning person...best to have as few responsibilities in the early hours as possible :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Friendly Friday and for your sweet comment! Also, thanks for posting our linky! I'm so glad to "meet" you and look forward to visiting your blog, too. Great tips you have for getting ready for the next day. (That's why it takes women longer to get ready for bed than men...lol) :)
