Spring Holiday Chocolate Chip Cake

Today I was wondering just what to share in this Easter weekend post. 
Let us first rejoice and celebrate the death and glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! 
Where would we be without Him?
So, what are your plans for Easter Dinner?
My friend, Jan, who is an amazing baker, sent me this recipe this morning. Knowing that, when it comes to making incredibly delicious desserts, Jan nails it every time, I asked her if I could share it with you. 
She was delighted! 
If you were wondering what to make for Easter dessert, this might be just what you were looking for.

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Heat Oven 350 degrees – Time:  45 minutes
Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan or bundt pan
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
2 Tablespoons of milk or cream
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
Cream first two ingredients until very smooth.
Add eggs to shortening and sugar and beat till eggs are light.
Add sour cream, milk, and vanilla and beat in well until well blended.
Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a small bowl.
Add dry ingredients to liquid mixture and mix till flour is blended.   
Add in chocolate chips.
Turn mixture into tube pan and bake for 45 minutes.
Let cool in pan 10-15 minutes and then invert onto a wire rack and let cool completely.
Dust with cinnamon and sugar or confectionery sugar.
