Start where you are now, no matter how dismal it looks, and take baby steps to freedom!
“You can do anything for 15 minutes” Marla Cilley, The FlyLady
Take as little as 5 minutes and clear a space to the worst room in the house. You know, the room that is so cluttered you’d be embarrassed to have anyone see it. Just work your way in, clearing clutter as you go, for five minutes a day. Do it faithfully for 27 days and see the transformation. It’s simple-- it works!
Use a kitchen timer so that you don’t get caught up. When the timer rings, you’re done! Move on to the next task at hand, one of which might even be some special time for you! Read a book, take a cat nap, catch up on your email. Relax for a few minutes.
This is no-pressure approach to organizing, cleaning and decluttering is so simple. Simple, and fun! Baby steps. That's all it takes.
Many thanks to Marla...

Ducks 'n a Row was born as a result of inspiration from Marla Cilley, the FlyLady! Her book is how I learned to organize, declutter and not stress about what was yet undone!
In 2010, I had the amazing privilege of meeting Marla by phone. I thought I was going to interview her and, instead, she spent 90 minutes sharing and encouraging me on how to succeed as a writer! What a blessing!

I am your newest follower from the FTLOB blog hop. The older I get the harder it is to stay organized! I think it is the accumulation of stuff and just general lack of energy that bog me down. Thanks for the great tips!
