About Ducks ‘n a Row...it's all about organizing, time management, money saving strategies and anything to do with parent, family, cooking and dogs! For over 15 years, I have worked in various administrative positions in schools, Preschool through Grade 12. So, add “school” to that list, as well.

I love to encourage people. I love to make big mountains look like little mole hills. And that is what I hope to do for you, as you read and share along with me. To me, organizing and planning is almost therapeutic. “When life is out of control, clean a drawer!” My theory is that, if you can find one little place and focus on making it look good, it boosts your morale. It gives you hope.

Ducks ‘n a Row is me: Sinea Pies (pronounced SEENA). It has been my lifelong dream to be a writer. From a very young age, I began creating screen plays and short stories for my own enjoyment. In fact, my life’s ambitions have been to be a writer, author, actress, wife and mom. At this time, I have had the pleasure of reaching most of these goals. (The book has yet to be written.)

When you dream about your future, though, the trials of life are never in those dreams. We never paint in marital woes, estrangements from dearly-loved family members, heart attacks, financial distress, or death. Those elements are never there.

Our dreams are painted wearing rose-colored-glasses and that’s the way dreams should be! I’ve always been an optimist and I remain so today. My optimism has substance, though, because I know the One who can fulfill every dream. In fact, He gives BETTER than our dreams. Yes, Jesus got me through the bumps of life—big, big, BIG ONES and small ones, too-- and continues to do so each and every day.

At 59+ years, I feel like I am just getting started! Life is good. Did I tell you that I am a wife, mother (5 kids and 4 wonderful kids-in-law), 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and one more on the way—plus nieces and nephews? We have a big family! Oh yes, and Lexi and Troy our beautiful yellow labs.
